About Us‎ > ‎Extra-curricular‎ > ‎

The aim of the Drama club is to present plays which have an HIV & AIDS theme to the general public since we are fighting this deadly pandemic. As an institution we are working also in achieving the 2016 vision.

The awareness is a voluntary activity to students and its also a breaking point for those who have a flair in acting since it is one of the most paying industry. Some of our students have been taken by advertising agencies which is a   great   expedition.

Byte Size drama group also  competes with all colleges at national level drama  events .

The requirements of BOTA (Botswana Training Authority)  have been  pre- set  for such events .We practice  at least twice a week and prepare for the drama first round competition three months earlier before the date. Students must conform with the rules and regulations of the club, and attendance is checked.

The group intends to be performing plays in some  areas disseminating the AIDS information to the community. The intended places to be  visited are Mahalapye, Serowe, Lobatse, Kanye and many more will be covered with time.

The drama also intends to take advantage of agricultural shows and perform their plays during  such times, since the main reason is AIDS and HIV awareness, such gathering attracts a lot of people hence it’s the best atmosphere for the  dissemination  of the AIDS &HIV  issues.
